SPOT satellite devices offer a range of essential features including GPS location-based messaging, emergency coordination with Search and Rescue, and anti-theft alerting and tracking functionality, all without the limitations of cellular networks. The SPOT App provides users with a convenient way to view messages sent from their SPOT device, track progress, and monitor assets. Here are some notable features:
- Display SPOT messages on a range of maps including standard, satellite, and hybrid options
- Effortlessly filter messages by date range, message type, or device type
- Conveniently zoom to the most recent SPOT message
- Customize GPS coordinate display format to suit your preferences
- Option to set automatic deletion of SPOT messages by time or quantity within the app. These auto-deleted messages will be removed from the app but will still be accessible in your SPOT Mapping account for up to 3 years
- Configurable frequency for checking new SPOT messages
